I have had these framed butterflies for over five years. I saw them this afternoon and found my striped blue crow eated and with little half inch to an inch long brown exoskeltons and gray fuzz on it. Is this typical of silverfish? my other frame has been invaded as well. Im not sure if this is siverfish because they supposedly live for a year without food and they didnt touch the other two butterflies in the frame. Are they silverfish? should I get rid of them to prevent them from eating anything else? they look dead. They were hanging on the wall in my den for almost two years now with no problems. oh, the butterflies are backed with cotton and they come from thailand.
