I have had my filling removed and the start of root canal done - all 3 removed and cleaned and now have temp sedative / filling. all though alot of my initial dis comfort has gone my tooth is incredibly sore and sensative. My dentist advised me to eat and use my tooth to shape the soft filling......however this has been impossible. I have just tried to eat a very soft chidrens crisp and am in agony there is no way any eating is going to happen on that tooth! Is this normal and if so when will i be able to use it? I am concerned if it is not normal as I am due to fly long haul in a weeks time and need my teeth to be right. Please help..
