I have created an Access 2007 database.

Problem: Several users will be adding to this database with a form. However, I only want them to be able to see their entries from the database, (no other user's) and only for a week's worth of entries, and no more. I want to split this database - back end on the network - front end on each individual PC.

How can I do this without user security that was available in 2003? I know I need to use a passwork - but on the database? Each will need to set their own so no one can see any other user's data.

I have had the same problem and I have lost all data. Finally, I had to make that each will need to set their own so no one can see any other user's data. Fortunately I could recover and repair the database using this software http://www.cimaware.com/main/products/accessfix.php
