I have come across pictures of a monument called the "Liberty Bell Arch". The picture shows a huge bell mounted like an arch on a 4 lane roadway (al la the Arc de Trumphe in Paris). The autos passing under it appear to be circa. 1920. My questions are: 1) When was it constructed?; 2) Where in Philadelphia was it located?; 3) Who built it?; and, 4) Why was it taken down?
