I have built a 3 phase 9 coil 12 pole alternator for my vertical axis wind turbine. I get good wind, about 20-35 MPH daily. I currently use an average of 1050 KWH per month. I would like to use a grid tie inverter, but I am not sure what size inverter. I don't know what my alternator is capable of putting out yet and not sure how to go about testing it.

any advise would be appreciated,
