I have been suffering from PET since the start of my 2nd pregnancy, which usually occurs in the evenings. I am into my second trimester now, and the PET seems to become more frequent and accute, sometimes it would last for as long as the entire day.

I have counter check with the symptoms check and remedies you have suggested, and has confirmed that it is PET and not congestion.

I also had PET during my first pregnancy, but the symptoms wore off after delivery. The condition then was not as accute as the 2nd pregnancy, probably because I had more chance to lie down at home to rest.

I am curious as to why PET occurs during pregnancy. Hope you have the answer to this.
