I have been a christian all my life and the hole time I have gone by what the preacher has taught and not by actually reading the whole bible myself. My question is we celebrate a holiday that was already being used by a group of people who do no believe in Jesus and started using it as his birthday. Now that I have studied the bible myself every where in the bible God says I am a jealous God do not worship any other gods put me! Do not do there practices, do not bow down to them in any form. So Why would he want us to take a custom that was being used to worship the saturn god with and start worship him with. Not only That Jesus was not even born around the time we celebrate it. Can any one tell me why we already teach are childeren lies about Jesus.
