I have an adult crayfish that we found on the side of the road here in NJ about a year ago. We keep it in an aquarium. We gave it some feeder fish but it has only eaten 1. About 2 months ago we found a baby snapping turtle only a couple hours old. We put it into the aquarium with the crayfish and gold fish. The turtle and the crayfish have established a unique bond. They live together in the crayfish house, the turtle climbs all over the crayfish, the crayfish sits on top of the turtle. This goes against everything I've read. I thought they were enemies! Any insite would be welcome.
