I have an Etisalat Afghanistan SIM. I bought an AF 2000 card. The directions on the card are wrong and do not work until you have charged the SIM for the first time, which requires a different starting number, which I believe is *123*. I was told that after the phone beeps, you enter the 15-digit PIN and #, then hit send. A screen comes up that says "requesting", it goes back and forth many times and then something about "Request Not Recognized." I have sent these jerkoffs two emails, talked to their customer service twice. No answers to the emails and when you call customer service, two things happen. First, if you dial 888, there are no options for the AF cards, only their other services. Second, when you get someone from their so-called tech support on the line, they give you the wrong information and tell you to dial 404 like it says on the back of the card. This is only for recharging, not the first-time setup. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
