I have an '04 CVPI and want to upgrrade the 273 open rear to a limited slip. How do I find out if it is 28 or 31 splines ? Which ratio is better for launch, 355 or will 373 be a better choice. Will Mustang differentials work ?

The tag in the door jam has a axel code on it.The last 8? digits of the vin# may also contain this info.Please let me know what works.The rear in my '03 CVPI is starting to make alot of noise and I'll soon be looking into upgrade myself.Thanks!
