I have a patient who has left sided hemiparesis due to cerebro vascular clot arising from the carotids that were found to have more than 60/100 clot in the right internal carotid .Patient is diabtic and smoker . Can i use dabigatran to prevent further cerebral strokes without using warfarin ?
