I have a US 1917 model cutlass.
Where can I obtain a vintage, correct sword knot for it?

You can't. Cutlasses are/were enlisted combat weapons, and didn't have such embellishments. They are worn with frogs as opposed as being "hung" from hangers such as officers wear.
There has been some discussion for using the US 1860 model for CPO dress wear like the USMC NCO sword, but this has been a circular plan producing little traction.
