Sculpture

I have a Statue of King Richard the lionheartd. It was made as a part of a fireplace set probably in the late 1800's to early 1900's.

It has such exact detail it appears to be some type of wax casting with medal poured over it. there are marks.

Just wondering if anyone can give me more information if I provide pictures?
