I have a 2003 Seadoo GTX SC with less than 100 hours of use. The steering cable was replaced last year due to some binding. Now the steering is erratic and even darts to the right at speeds above 40MPH. The steering cable appears to be good and the jet is responsive to turning both ways. I suspect the OPAS not retracting on the right side. What would the problem be and how do I correct it? I thought about shimming the rudders up with a piece of PVC.
