I have a 1922 German Deutsche Mark note. The denomination is DM 1,000,000. Yes, that's one million...quite common at the time. What would it be worth today if I tried to sell it at auction, or privately? Would it be worth doing so?
It's my understanding that the German currency wasn't called the 'Reichsmark' until 1923. Some of the other notes in my possession were issued in 1923.
Could someone, preferably someone with experience in the marketplace, please suggest a value in US dollars or pounds sterling? Thank you.
