I had a motorcycle wreck 5 weeks ago. I spent a week in ICU and suffered 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung, multiple areas of road rash and puncture wounds to rt shoulder and left leg. I am experiencing bouts of extreme dizziness that happens when my head is in a certain position. I also experience headaches, and dizziness when I roll into a different position in the bed. I can also lean over and feel like I am going to fall. The vertigo will last only a few seconds, but leaves me nauseated and with a headache. Is this similar to PCS?
I was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. I remember nothing after I realized I had lost control of my bike. My helmet suffered some serious damage, it was ground to the fiberglass on both sides.
