I had a "Goodwrench" Chevy 350 engine installed in my 49 Chev pickup.Is there a vin number on this engine that will tell me the year so that I can repair it?
My problem: the plugs foul, the engine does not run smoothly, and sometimes a cloud of exhaust smoke puffs out of the right side exhaust. The end of the pipe has a wet black coating.
