I drive an automatic and am told that left foot braking is a desired skill. I find left foot braking unnatural and jerky and not under control. I concede that some more ambidextrous drivers will have success with their left foot but in 20 years of autos I never even knew some people braked that way. Any comments?

Left foot braking is not an appropriate driving technique with the exception of heavy equiptment operation. I.E. Loaders dozers and sheetfoot articulating compactors.
