"Reason: We can now use our ability to reason, deductive logic, and extrapolation of the known evidence to know and understand things the evidence does not reveal directly, such as life after death. We have progressed enough to know and understand the fundamental truth of life. It will transform us and our world."

Sigh. Everywhere. Do you get royalties if someone buys the book?

All this is based upon some very false premises about evolution and physics. "The Present" is nothing but garbage in, garbage out.

Notice this is based on "extrapolation". There is always a question about whether the extrapolation is justified and/or accurate. So where is the "know" in Sagan's "I don't want to believe. I want to know."?
