I don´t understand the relation between the activity of a given source of radiation and the dose absorbed by an exposed target, for example, a semiconductor diode. We have a 60Co source (1173.23 keV and 1332.51 keV) with an activity of 450 Bq. It is possible to calculate the dose rate (rad/s) to wich the device will be exposed? What information is needed to know it? Thanks a lot.
