I bought a plan (by Peter Chandler) of a double bass by Matteo Gofriller. I build the bass (it looks beautifull and in a couple af days, when varnish is dry,I will hear its sound), but I can't find any information about the original bass.
Chandler (in his book) said it is a copy of a bass, owned by Charless Elliott, but he don't give any information about the original instrument. Can anybody help me?
