I bought a 1969 Mercury cyclone that was sold to me as a Cale Yarborough Atlanta Special. It is a W NOSE, 390, bucket seats, console shift automatic, red over white, with the paint code unlisted on the door tag. Supposedly 23 of these cars were sold at Atlanta dealerships to honor Cale for his win of the 1969 Atlanta 500. I have been unable to find any information on these cars. I once read they circled the track before one of the Grand National races. If anybody knows of these cars, or where I could go to find information on them I would greatly apppreciate hearing from you.
