I am writing a novel. the main character is ex special forces. In order to be realistic, i would like to know the usual length of career in the SAS. Is there a minimum age for selection? Are troops rotated back to their original regiments? How long must a man serve in the military before he can receive a pension? What is the minimum age an ex service man can receive a pension? Sorry for so many questions at once.
