I am using Quicken 2010 Home and Business and recently signed up for online banking so that I could download my checking and saving account transactions directly into the program. The download process went smoothly but I soon discovered that I had 579 downloaded transactions which are virtual if not exact duplicates of the transactions that had already been entered into the register. The amounts are all the same but the transaction date is usually off a few days depending on when it cleared the bank. Otherwise the payee is almost always the same and, as mentioned earlier, the amount of the transaction is identical. Plus, I can'f find any of these "duplicate" transactions when I look at my Quicken check register entries. When I clicked on "accept all", I was taken to a box which presented three options one of which was "skip"---if these transactions were supposed to match my existing transactions.
