I am trying to identify a shore bird sighted at Cape Scott, Northern Vancouver Island B.C.
similar to a large Sandpiper, this bird had dramatic markings;
yellow brow flowing down to a black stripe down each side and a white belly
the jet black side stripe divided the white underside and the mottled back.
help in in an I.D. would be appreciated.
