I am tracking the bio of Lt Charles Bech, a Luxembourger in the USAAF who was trained as a bomber pilot in 1942, then went with his B-17 crew to the UK. The crew was split up on arrival at Prestwick, and sometime later he qualified as a P-38 (or its recon equivalent) pilot and was involved in recon. It is possible that he wound up at Membury. Does anyone have access to rosters of the 3rd and 67th recon groups or any other ideas about where I might find where he was assigned. I have a lot of other information, but will keep this short.
