I am seeking information for my forthcoming lecture called' Why did Liverpool Cathedral lose two towers?' in which I will investigate the mystery surrounding the radical redesign of 1910. I have been seeking the Radcliffe Papers mentioned by Cotton in his work, 'The Book of Liverpool Cathedral' and wish to find the papers on Radcliffe and GGS's Spanish holiday in 1903/4.
They are not in the Cathedral archives, and I've followed the trail through Liverpool University to Cambridge University's Pembroke College, but the trail has gone cold. If anyone knows their wherabouts I would appreciate being informed of this.
