I am researching a project, and would like to find information about Miss Mary Rhinelander Callender, born 1848, and Miss Caroline De Forest, born 1852. According to the New York Times society columns of 1893 to 1912, they held musicales at their apartment in "The Tiffany Studio Building," often attended by 100 or more guests. Miss Callender's obituary in 1919 mentioned these musicales as famous events in NYC Society.
Also, was the building indicated the one at 15 Union Square West, which has just been converted into luxury condos, or another?
