I am new to Wireshark. I keep getting this request from the router when I filter eth.type == 0x0806.

3926 21:39:29.546765000 AsustekC_f5:9d:a0 Cisco-Li_87:cb:da ARP 42 Who has 192.168.1.1? Tell 192.168.1.100

I know what this machines is and when turned own, it shnows the mac address of the adapter on my laptop. But when I turn off the laptop, this is still popping up.

Thsi dows not happen to the other devices on my network when they are turned off.

Any ideas on why this is happening?
