I am looking for information about a murder investigation that would have occurred in Troup County, I believe somewhere between 1953-1959. Unfortunately I am not sure what the victims name was, but the prime suspect in the investigation was Robert Meeks. For as much as I understand the authorities were convinced Meeks was the murderer, but due to lack of evidence he was never charged.
If you have any information that would help me in my research, it would be greatly appreciated.
