I am currently researching entries for a dictionary, and need to resolve conflicting information about whether the Allen-Bradley Clock Tower chimes. Most internet sources, including absoluteastronomy.com, suggest that the clock does not chime, however, one of our lexicographers, who resides in Milwaukee, suggests that she hears the clock chiming at regular intervals.

I would be most grateful for information that may help to resolve this apparent discrepancy in facts.
