This is a very common and delicate situation on the program. First and foremost, if you go ahead and get married while still on the program you will be NJP'd and RFC'd which means that your career is over. There are ways around this. You can submit for a waiver from group. This is usually done 6 months before the end of your tour. I know Marines that have gotten this approved up to a year and a half before they got off the program. That doesn't happen often though. Your other option is to try and do it quietly. This is very risky, especially when it comes time to submit paperwork for benefits and entry visas into the U.S. I would reccomend this instead... First, try the waiver route. If this does not work then go ahead and get married by the preacher, shaman, monk whatever. This will appease your spouse and will establish your commitment. However, do not, I repeat do not make it a legal marriage. Get the marraige legalized with a marriage certificate 3 months before leaving the program. This should allow time for you to fill out and submit the necessary paperwork before returning to the states. I hope this helps and everything works out for you.

I hope you can help me.
I like to write a fictinal story that's in my head.
The story is about some Marines satation at an embassy.
I need to know about the day to day interaction,
the way the embassy Marines talk, walk and live in an embassy.
