I am currently doing reforestation work for the purpose of creating the forest structure to improve the habitat of orangutan ( pongo pymaes), and hopefully the forest ecosystem will return to normal and will be able to provide the natural ecosystem function. How do we gauge such progress over time? What are the parameters, beside tahing measurement on growth of the planted trees?
