Imperial Japanese Army Air Service

I am building the old Tamiya A6M5c Zero kit and want to include the finished plane in a diorama depicting an IJA airfield. The Tamiya kit includes decals for several naval unit Zeros, but no IJA planes. I thought I would use decals from the Tamiya kit and other kits to create my own IJA Zero unit numbers, but have been unable to find any info that indicates that any army air units even used the Zero late in the war. Checking on the internet, it seems that the Frank and Oscar were used more by the army, while the Navy used the Zero. Did any army air units use the Zero in late 1944 or 1945 and if so, which ones did? Can someone give me a quick history lesson about the use of the Zero by the IJA in that period? Thanks for any information on the subject!
