Apple-Intel architecture

I am about to create an extensive structure diagram of the apple architecture to enable users of OS X 10.5 and above to be able to grasp where their files are located. If this is already available and has been located by someone else then perhaps I could be told where this is. Apple are not themselves concerned with users being able to see where files are located, how large they are and when they were created, since this would have a negative effect on their sales. As there are many thousands of us loosing data regularly due to their obscure method of organizing, their "Finder" should not be taken seriously by anyone truly concerned with creating files which will be stored and copied to a number of locations. For children playing with computers "Finder" may be a nice start but should be avoided by parents who wish their children to grow up with a true knowledge of what computers can do, rather than a bleary image confused though the marketing tactics of a multinational company which places profits BEFORE user liberation! 2009 09 20:55
