I am a new High School teacher and am very concerned about preparing my students, students of the technology generation, for the professional world. In reading Lev Vygotsky's social constructivist views on education his "Scaffolding" theory sticks out as a great way to prepare students for the ever-changing landscape of the technology era. What comments or suggestions do any of you have regarding this and other theories on education?
