I am a big fan of Bengali style hot pickled olives. Olives apparently are not as yet commercially cultivated in India. Does anyone know if there is an Indian native olive variety or are these ordinary Mediterranean type olives of a particular sort. I have tried researching this but found it hard to get a clear idea.
