I am a Soviet reenactor. I have two working BC-611 walkie talkies and would like to use an RT-53B/TRC-7 transmitter/receiver as a base station on the same freq as the walkie talkies. ( I replaced the original electronics with CB band walkie talkies - they work great. and are well documented and lend-lease to russia.

I wonder if there is any history of the rt-53B/TRC7 as a lend lease item. It was a 1940's U.S. back pack type rig.
It would be easy to put a cb inside and wire things up to the front control. Any knowledge on these?
