I admire Bill Frisell's music hugely and would like to acquire 5 - 10 albums by him to add to the one I have which I cannot locate immediately. There was something I heard once which sounded like some kind of existential desert blues which suggested a version of Billy The Kid even better than Peckinpah's and which was superior to Dylan's pretty good soundtrack to same. I would appreciate it if some of you members could suggest the titles I should initially aim for before I strike out on my own. In other words I'll go by the vague consensus on what you suggest I should have . . . Something like that.
