I Have a LSM700 from Zeiss. i have read the manual. Inside the scanhead have a device that its name is MBS. I'm wondering when it is wrong installation, what happen later on? p/s: the word "Wrong" above means the coating surface...

I Have a LSM700 from Zeiss.
i have read the manual. Inside the scanhead have a device that its name is MBS. I'm wondering when it is wrong installation, what happen later on?

p/s: the word "Wrong" above means the coating surface does not face to the coming lazer beam.
