We carry in the optical fiber both Internet (FTTH) and also TV cable (CATV), how to install the GPON repeater?
Can it support 1310, 1550 and 1490 nm wavelength?
The GPON repeater can only deal with the PON service (1310 and 1490nm optical signal). Can not receive and amplify CATV optical signal (1550nm). In such application include in CATV 1550nm, two pcs FWDM need to work with PON repeater. The 1550nm CATV optical signal will be separated by FWDM before the GPON repeater, then combine it with 1310/1490nm by FWDM after the GPON repeater.
