How long after taking Perindopril (4mg in the morning)does it take before becoming effective. I often run early in the morning, and apparently that is generally a higher BP time.

It may take 3 hours for the drug to exert its impact.it has to be hydrolysed in liver and perindoprilat is the active component which will inhibit ACE and cause fall in pressure.
