How is the Arch of Titus constructed? Does it have an interior brick/mortar construction, faced with marble, or, is it constructed of marble blocks, in other words, solid marble?
I have long believed that it is the former, which would accord with most Roman imperial buildings, but things I have recently read suggest the latter.
