How effective are web sites that offer US Customs data?

There appear to be many "business intelligence" sites on the market through which you are able to get information derived from US Customs Bill of Lading submissions. I had thought that this data was not public, but I realize now that it is.

I looked up my own company's information, and found it to be 100% the same as the information we supplied for the bill of lading, including a lot of information about our company's customers. It seems to me that if this information is bought by our competitors, then on the one hand, our customers can easily be discovered...but on the other hand I can also develop new clients via this system.

If you have made use of US Customs data in your business, how helpful was it? How can I make the most of it?

Customs data has been no secret, and now the way to do global business, besides the global resource network B2B and exhibition, there is only using customs data. Like the global resource network and the exhibition are customers looking for you, but the customs data is needed to develop the customer's by your own initiative, but as to whether you can develop customers depending on your development ability, and we also bought the customs data: http://www.tradeinfo365.com/
still under development, expected results.
