The Pacu are allready present in several not just gulf coast eco-systems.
Most are released by owners of aquarium fish whose did not anticipate the growth rate that the Pacu naturally exhibit.
They will invade as far north as their climate/temperature comfort will tolerate. Over time they will adjust and evolve to tolerate harsher climates.
