Point of correction: Christ does not stand for christian, a christian is one who subscribe to the teaching of christ' philosophy. the whole movement is called chrisitianism. the christian dogma is highly embedded on the teaching of jesus christ.

We can only correct each other when one is wrong.

I don't think that there was Christianism before Jesus Christ. therefore yes we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ that qualify us to be Christians and proudly so we also practice the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Yeah you are very right, christianism was a result of christ's teachings. as i pointed out in my previous post 'the whole movement is named christianism
1. the whole system developed during and after jesus christ and especially his surname CHRIST.
2. people who follow his teachings are refferred to as christians
3. the act of following these teaching is reffered to as christianity, and
4 the philosophical or ideological part of it is christianism

in theory, if this world was never once trodded by that jesus guy, we wouldn't be having the massively split world of heaven and earth or christians and heathens. but what most of the people who refer themseles as christians doesn't know is that, christianity is part of a body of religions that exist in the world. for example, it (christianity) can also be split between, different types of christians. e.g. catholics, zionists, pentecostalists, hinduism, islamists etc. but the christian orthodoxes are having a huge problem that divide the whole world into pieces.
