There is probably nothing wrong with the pump. There is a small filter on the input to the pump that clogs up regularly. Look under the Rt. side fromt fender. You will have to remove the plastic pan. find the reservor and pull the hose out. Clean the "snot " off the input and stick it back in the hole. I cut the filter off after cleaning it the third time . no problem so far.
NOTE: Have a qualified (jag) mechanic check your "dual control temp valve. It will eventually corrode and leak. This can short out the heater control module. 750.00$ to replace the solenoid and 1600.00 to replace the Module. THIS WILL HAPPEN..
