How about the Anamirta cocculus stem or bark

At papua, infusa the steem or bark of Anamirta cocculus was using to malaria therapy, but when I did it in vitro, it did not show to inhibit the growing of Plasmodium falciparum (????). When I searching the other plant that same as family,Tinospora cordifolia, it has medicinal properties as antioxidant and anti malaria too.
