Home Invasion, man murdered Melbourne (StKilda?) 1979/1980

I am interested in finding details of a home invasion in Melbourne in either 1979 or 1980 that I believe happened in St Kilda. The details that I recall are of a drug related home invasion where a man was shot dead. I believe there was someone charged with this murder and if anyone has any more information or details on where I can find information please reply.
