Hiya, ive had my braces of for a year now, and have worn removal plastic retainers at every night and through the day if i felt my teeth throbbing/shifting. The problem is even though i have been wearing my retainers religiously, i have had slight movement, in my upper front teeth. My dentist has booked me in for a permanent retainer on my upper teeth, so my question is will this permanent retainer shift my teeth back to the orignal straightned position, or will it just retain my teeth as they are now??
